Al Caruso is an illustrator and visual development artist based in Michigan. He’s currently enrolled at Detroit’s College for Creative Studies where he hones his skills in animation design. Alongside student projects, he has had the opportunity to be a part of Eat Rice Studio’s 2025 film “My First Memory of Dance”! As a visual development intern, he collaborated with the team to develop the film’s overall look, characters, and backgrounds. When he’s not trying to sneakily sketch strangers, he’s probably birdwatching, weightlifting, or sculpting tiny ducks.
